Since ON&OFF DANCE was founded in 2001, co-directors Eun Jeong Kim and Chang Ho Han made a series of duets: "Bitter Dream" and "Blue Spot" (2002), "Dance With Me!" (2001). They began to perform under the slogan of "Free Moving." They have been working to integrate art and dance into daily lives by performing at various venues like street, gallery, club, yard, house, public place, as well as theater stage. To reinforce artistic capacity and experiment, they also have collaborated with other fields of artists like Masayuki Akamatz and Park Yee Chang Sik's Installation, music improviser Alfred Harth, Choi Sun Bae , videography + jam of dance +installation (Kim Yun Hwan) and non dance trained people.
Eun Jeong Kim studied dance at Sung Kyun Kwan University in Seoul and received her MFA in dance from California Institute of the Arts. Before he became a dancer, Chang Ho Han was a Taek Kwon Do representative player and trainer. He was trained for modern dance in the Dance Department of Cho Sun University. He was awarded a grand prize from Kwha Chun Hanmadang Festival and received second prize for "For Poor Love" from Dance Association of Korea in the Young Choreographer Contest and was invited to Agora Theater, Tokyo.
Dance On&Off was invited to the Seoul Dance Festival, the Choon Chun International Mime festival, and 1st Dance Out-Out festival, 2005, the Geo Chang International Theater Festival 2004, the Experimental Performing Arts festival 2003 & 2004, the Guwa Chun Hanmadang Festival 2003 & 2005, Next Wave Festival and 1st Fantasia Dancing Fair 2002. "Eating Light" was invited to the Agora Theater in Tokyo, Japan.

Monhwan was performed at Tanz Messe, Dusseldorf, Switsland, Wintherthure Theater 2004 and the 26th Seoul Dance Festival 2005. This piece and was supported by Korea World Dance Center.
Monghwan, Bitter Dream, paints a daydream through a pair of lovers on a yellow mat. With flowing the sound of love song in Pansory "Chun Hyang Ga" and the sorrow sound of instrument A-Jaeng San-Jo, they express the border of coexisting reality and unreality. They navigate as if the broken ship of life floats on the ocean.
